A New Orleans sandwich shop, finally leaving New Orleans

The collard green melt and the fried bologna sandwich came over unchanged, stacked absurdly high and served on paper. It is by some distance the cheapest thing worth eating at that end of the Strip.

Turkey & The Wolf opened in June 2025 inside Via Via at the Venetian, chef Mason Hereford's first outpost of his Irish Channel shop outside New Orleans. The original was named best new restaurant in America in 2017 and never expanded until this.
