A paranormal streak runs through this rare book shop

Mad Red Books calls itself a paranormal literary experience. Owner Joshua Dana stocks it with antique and rare books, hard to find elsewhere in Las Vegas. New releases and used titles round it out at normal prices.

It opened in a Silverado Ranch strip plaza on July 4, 2025. That's the far south valley's first independent bookstore. The calendar mixes signings, themed events and clearance weekends, and collectors make the drive.
