A working record store hidden inside a casino resort

Vinyl Pharmacy is a real record store tucked inside a casino, near the parking garage rather than the slot machines. Vintage pressings sit beside new releases, tapes, DVDs and a wall of movie posters.

It's the second location of a Palm Springs shop run by John Lohmann, and it opened at the Westgate in June 2026. That's the old International, where Elvis played his residency. Crate-diggers know 11th Street Records and Record City nearby.

Good to know

• It sits in the North Tower near the back entrance closest to the parking garage, easiest to reach if you self-park rather than walk the full casino floor.
• Beyond records there are original and reproduction movie posters, CDs, cassettes and Blu-rays worth flipping through.
