Seven seats, a brick oven, and three-day dough next door to Joan's on Third

Michael Fiorelli and Liz Gutierrez started Fiorelli as a pop-up in Cook's Garden on Abbot Kinney in March 2024. On 5 November 2025 they opened a permanent shop on West 3rd Street, next door to Joan's on Third.

It's 750 square feet, five hundred of which is kitchen. That leaves seven indoor seats, so you're effectively eating in the pass. The dough ferments three days and the pies land between Neapolitan and New York, which in practice means no flop in the middle.

Good to know

  • Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 9pm. With seven seats, most orders go out as takeaway.

I really enjoy the pizza here and I am a highly selective pizza lover! Great overall flavor, delicious crust, and always cooked perfectly. I love the Parmesan flavor on the Fiorelli Classic pizza. The owners are friendly and kind people. The type of business you want to patronize. We tried the meatballs tonight and they were phenomenal! I’m not usually a fan of restaurant meatballs and these got the approval of me and my husband. I do miss Fiorelli being in Venice though. I’m not from the DoorDash generation so I prefer to eat my pie hot and fresh. You are always welcome back on the westside Fiorelli!

Pizza is good, service is friendly, location is great. Just a little overpriced. Their lunch special makes sense ($26 for pizza cookie and drink). Otherwise… the value for money would be so so. I’m sure the ingredients, the care, the cooking are great but 26/28 dollars for a personal pizza in this type of location feels a little steep. I know these are the prices in this area, but still…

This is one of those food experiences that restores your faith in humanity and just makes you feel great about life. Not only is the food and the atmosphere outstanding (my wife and I ordered a pizza and had the meatballs as well, both 10/10), but the owner who also served us is an absolute gem of a person. I didn't catch her name, but you could just tell she's an absolute ray of sunshine in human form. May her incredible business thrive, and we'll definitely be back next time we visit LA. Much much love❤️

Amazing pizza and great vibes! We ate at the counter, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. One of the owners even came out to chat with us. This place is a gem.

10/10. I can’t express this enough. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in town. I went out of my way to go back into the store to tell them how much I loved their pizza. Highly recommend. The perfect blend between a Neapolitan and a NY slice
