Black artists finally get a home base downtown

Dozens of local Black artists and makers show work here, in a space built so gallery rent in downtown Minneapolis stops being the reason they get shut out.

The Roho Collective spent years running pop-up shows and borrowed studios before landing this Nicollet Avenue address. Walk through and you're seeing the results of that search for room to actually show work.
