Death & Co's Nashville bar, freezer cocktails included
New York's Death & Co opened Close Company in the Neuhoff District in May 2025. The drinks are modern takes on classics plus a batched, freezer-chilled list that arrives instantly and correctly cold.
Bar snacks stay deliberately silly. The 'pastry pockets' look like Hot Pockets and are not apologising for it. Seats at the bar beat the tables.

What a cool experience! Somehow found this place while walking through another restaurant and its kind of a hidden gem! Ended up showing up for their one year anniversary party and Brandon, Our server was incredible. The whole experience the vibe and the drinks are all phenomenal. A lot of unique drink options. Would 10/10 recommend trying this place out!

What an experience. Such a cool vibe and Brandon, our bartender, made the best drinks and was great to chat with. Got to celebrate the first birthday party of bar, and they had a raffle that I won a prize for! I’m telling all my friends they need to check this place out when they visit Nashville.

Baller final stop on my Nashville weekend! My partner n I decided to swing in last minute the night before we left and this place was hands down one of my favorite spots of the weekend! Joe not only made us some killer cocktails, but manned the bar like a champ seeing as he was technically the only bar tender on duty,, and their chef John Michael stepped in to help bar back and Twas some very nice conversation! Safe to say we found a cool place and some really cool new friend to come back n visit :) 100% recommend !

Stopped by on a rainy Saturday, and even though it was quiet, the vibe was still on point. The music was good, the drinks were flowing, and the atmosphere felt relaxed but welcoming. I didn’t order food this time, but the bartender was very attentive and professional—offering great recommendations and being honest about what works best. Great company, great energy, and I’ll definitely be back to experience it during peak hours.

Had a beautiful time at their New Year’s adult prom event! The space was wonderfully decorated, the DJ played the perfect nostalgic tracks, the bartenders were exceedingly friendly! Not to mention the drinks and passed bites were delicious. Would definitely go again!
