Vannie's Table

Bodega, bar and coffee counter in North Nashville
Vannie's Table opened on Clifton Avenue in June 2026 as North Nashville's version of a neighborhood catch-all: coffee in the morning, draft beer later, shelves of groceries you can grab on the way out. Board games sit stacked by the seating, and people actually play them.
The obvious comparison is The Hangout Cafe across the river. The difference here is you can leave with dinner ingredients as well as a buzz.

Delicious iced coffee! Smooth, refreshing, and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend!

I stopped by Vannie’s Table for a Too Good To Go order and ended up discovering a place I’ll definitely be coming back to! I grabbed a $6 bottled iced chai by local Belmont students and it was absolutely phenomenal. The biggest surprise, though, was the homemade English muffins from a local baker ($9). They were baked on June 20, I bought them on June 24, and I ate them over June 25–27. They were still incredibly fresh and delicious days later. It is so hard to find homemade English muffins anywhere in Nashville, and these completely won me over. I especially hope they start carrying even more varieties because I’d love a classic plain English muffin for savory breakfasts, although the blueberry one was phenomenal. I honestly just ate it with a little butter. My Too Good To Go bag also included two plain croissants, and they were delicious as well. I came in near closing, so I had the chance to chat with the owner. She shared stories about watching the neighborhood change over the years, and it made me even more excited to support this local business. Vannie’s Table is conveniently located right down the street from the Hadley Tennis Center, where I usually finish playing around 7 p.m., so it’s the perfect place to stop in before they close and pick up a drink or stock up on fresh baked goods. Welcome to the neighborhood! I hope more people discover and support this wonderful local spot.

Vannie's Table is a great new neighborhood spot with a warm, family-owned feel and plenty of potential. The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable, and perfect for anything from grabbing coffee to settling in with a laptop or enjoying a quick bite. It’s the kind of place that fits naturally into the community and gives visitors a reason to stop in, relax, and explore what they have to offer. I’m looking forward to seeing it continue to grow and become a local favorite.

What a charming spot! Loved this corner store and the perfectly curated shelves. Friendly staff and fabulous treats. Will come back any time I’m in Nashville. (Try vannie’s vanilla latte!)
