Sally's Stay Awhile

All-day comfort food from the Bastion crew
Anyone still mourning Josephine should know its former chef and partner runs the kitchen here. Sally's Stay Awhile opened in June 2026 from the group behind Bastion, Locust and Henrietta Red, and it is the least precious thing they have done: stuffed french toast in the morning, rotisserie chicken later, pigs in a blanket that taste smoked rather than cute.
Coffee is Crema. Save room for the chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, which is the one dish the staff will push on you without being asked.

I have already enjoyed this twice since they’ve opened - and am in love with their steak and fries. Everything we’ve had is absolutely amazing - and the staff are a bundle of joy to be around. Can’t wait to come back.

Sally’s Stay Awhile is the sweetest little spot with the cutest, coziest vibes. 🫶 The food is absolutely delicious! I seriously haven’t had a bad thing there! The chai is incredible, the tomato soup and grilled cheese are the ultimate comfort meal, and the club sandwich is sooo good. On top of that, the service is always so kind and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay awhile (literally)!

Absolutely loved our Sunday brunch experience with Sally's Stay Awhile. We loved Josephines and when we heard the chef was coming back and opening a new restaurant, we jumped at the chance to come try it out. We got the cinanmon roll, strawberry cream cheese muffin, the half roasted check and the avocado toast with poached egg. 10/10. We cannot wait to come back for lunch and dinner.

We went to Sally’s for the first time tonight and it is the perfect addition to Nashville. While they definitely are still working out a few kinks, it’s to be expected as they are new. The vibe is amazing and the people who work there go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Our favorites were the wings, steak & fries and caesar salad. The food was incredible and we can’t wait to be regulars. We also loved our waitress, Maria! Go in with a little bit of patience but ready for great food, awesome people and a cozy neighborhood spot. Highly recommend!!!

Very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend. The coffee is excellent as well as the steak and eggs and croissant waffles. Will be back regularly
