Lumpy oversized bagels in Arcade Alley

The Ugly Bagel was among the first tenants when the revamped Arcade Alley opened in November 2024, selling oversized, deliberately lopsided bagels downtown. Plain, sesame and everything are permanent; the rest rotates monthly.

You pick your spread thickness, from light to loaded, which is either a gimmick or the most honest thing on the menu. Bar Roza is a few doors down for later.

Bagel and cream cheese is the way to go. Bagels are big and fresh. Breakfast sandwich wasn’t that good. All premade and heated in microwave alla Dunkin’ Donuts for 8 bucks. Eh I’ll pass next time. . Stick with the bagels and spread.

Great find. Excellent location. Breakfast sandwich and just a plain bagel were awesome. Coffee was okay, but didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed the food. Staff was friendly and happy to answer questions. Quick service considering how many folks were lined up. Definitely recommend!

Great concept. We’re very excited about the brand. Bagels are great. However, it did not seem busy and took us close to 30 minutes to get our food while we just sat there with no updates and no interaction wondering if they had our order. They should have some sort of update system so we can check the status. They also do not provide ketchup if you get an egg and cheese - like, even if you ask, they say they don’t have it. With just a few tweaks, we think this could be one of the best bagel shops.

Delicious and quick... great breakfast bagels and coffee. Located in the Arcade, nice and quiet space in the morning. Would come again and recommend to anyone who loves bagels.
