Mary Ann Weprin did what avid readers talk about and rarely do: she opened her own bookstore. It landed at 1208 Martin Street in June 2026, Wedgewood-Houston's first neighborhood independent bookstore. It's part of a small wave of businesses signing leases on the same street.
