Thomas Straker brings Notting Hill to Grand Street

Thomas Straker built a following online before he built a restaurant, which invites scepticism. The Notting Hill room answered most of it, and the Grand Street version landed in Soho in 2026.

The cooking is Mediterranean and generous. A flatbread arrives under a pile of mussels; agnolotti come stuffed with ricotta. Soho is a fair test of whether the reputation travels.
