A hotel bar on Rosecrans doing proper cocktails
Ian Ward's name is on the drinks, precise and short rather than long and themed. Hotel guests aside, it functions as a neighborhood bar.
The team behind it has worked at Addison, unusual pedigree for a hotel bar. It opened in August 2024 at 1410 Rosecrans Street in Point Loma, and Ward has since consulted on Una Más too.

Such a cool and unique setting for dinner! The menu is very old-school Americana with dishes like pickle dip and chicken kiev that are all delicious. The service was the standout, though. The host took our order since our waitress was busy (never seen that before!) and at one point when we'd finished our drinks, 3 separate people asked if we wanted another. Also, because our entrees took what they determined to be a long time (I hadn't even noticed a delay), they comped both! Highly recommend checking out this spot

Went here for a friend's birthday, a party of 8. The staff was super friendly and professional, all dressed in a general vintage look, which added to the atmosphere. The only drawback was a trivia night happening, which, as mildly appealing as it was, impeded our conversations. The food was pretty good, could maybe use a little improving. The prices were a bit high for the sized portion you got. But I think what you're going there for is the atmosphere which was gorgeous. I will definitely return. Overall, nothing really bad to say about it. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to people wanting to try a new place.

I LOVE pony boy! The nostalgic menu and atmosphere make for a special night out! All of the cocktails are delicious and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful! Deviled eggs are a must have

Best prime rib I’ve ever had. Hands down. All the food was fantastic with unique takes on classic comfort food, with elevated ingredients and style. Chef Josh was a delight and came out to the table to explain the inspiration for each dish. 10/10 coming back to try some of the rest that we didn’t get a chance to this time around.

Really enjoyed our experience at Ponyboy! Appetizers were great and the Prime Rib was one of the best I’ve ever had. Great service and a super cool retro 50s vibe. Will definitely be back!
