Tahini & Finjan opened on 20 December 2025 in Hazard Center, doing Middle Eastern food and coffee in a part of Mission Valley better known for parking structures than for anything worth walking to.
The finjan in the name is the small cup Arabic coffee is served in, and that side of the menu is taken as seriously as the food. Come for a plate of hummus and a cardamom coffee rather than a full sit-down dinner.
