An all-day bistro on University Avenue

Flora opened on 9 December 2024 at 3021 University Avenue in North Park, from Ocean Mohamadi and Nino Cusimano, with Davide Sinibaldi of Cesarina and Elvira running the kitchen.

Brunch daily, dinner Thursday through Sunday. The menu is described as cosmopolitan, which mostly means slightly fancy without fuss: matcha waffles with peach compote, that kind of thing. Weekend brunch lines start before the doors open at nine.

Outstanding Performance from the whole team. From the host stand to the bar and kitchen. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and a pleasure to share a space with. Big shout out to The man Vince he really curated the experience to perfection. Will be coming back again soon. 10/10 would recommend. Make sure to come in with a friend and show off this gem in north park.

Great brunch experience at Flora! The food was great and the service was excellent. Shout out to our amazing server, Yuri, for the amazing service. He was super friendly and funny! Highly recommend Flora and if you go, ask for Yuri.

A Northpark native for 36 years, I just discovered Flora. Lots of trendy hohum places to be seen here and something I’d always lacking. Not this place! Great menu choices, the food was excellent and well-priced. It was very busy and I’m glad I had made a reservation. Our waiter (from Naples was charming and attentive). The decor was very hip and fit the venue.

Food here was very good. We had the steak sandwich, the burger, the caprese, and the green chiliquiles. All the entrees tasted great, the potatoes on the side were really good, and the service was also great.

Fillippo was our server. He was very nice and friendly. The food was great. Had smoked salmon croissant Benedict. Very tasty!
