Spanish-inflected rooftop over the Savannah River

Skip the Southern-and-seafood script every other rooftop downtown follows. Lavender sits atop the AC Hotel at the east end of River Street with a Spanish-leaning menu and views that stretch over the river to the downtown skyline.

Hotel guests ride the elevator up, but locals climb the stairs just for sunset. One floor, one view, a menu that doesn't taste like anywhere else nearby.
