Skip the background-music version of a cigar bar. Chewy's built its whole identity around a real jazz program, with headliners rotating through Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for a scene Tampa didn't really have a dedicated room for.

It's veteran and woman-owned, on North Armenia Avenue. Show up early on a weekday and you'll find it open at 9am for coffee and cigars, hours before the evening crowd rolls in for the music.

I'm all about Tampa and the cigar scene. I love to find a chill spot to enjoy a good cafe con leche and smoke a good cigar while having great conversations with the regulars. I found all that at Chewy's. Great coffee served early by the Tampa Coffee Club, great and growing cigar selection by Vincent's, and the company of local Tampa folks. What made it even more exciting, was the Jazz. I visited Chewy's to check out the Jazz and what a vibe. The musicians are awesome. Oh, and I can't forget about the awesome bartenders. Overall, highly recommended. Great staff, great atmosphere, great service... the place to be in Tampa!

It's a vibe with great entertainment and nice crowd, I just wish they had more space or a more accommodating patio area. Humidor selection was good and priced well. I'll definitely go back on days when it's not as busy.

Chewy's was an amazing establishment. I couldn't ask for more. The live music, drinks and the service was by far the best I've ever had. This cigar lounge is a must to be put on your favorites. Thank you guys look forward to seeing you again.

I love the live music. Unfortunately when it's busy the service from the bar is super slow. I waited over 20 minutes for a drink. When I ordered my 2nd drink I never got it. I think on busy nights they should have more staff. However I still like it here.
