Slow-cooked birria tacos, plus a birria pizza, in New Tampa

Dunk the tacos in consomme and you'll get why this place built a following fast. The birria cooks slow in house, and it doesn't stop at tacos: there's a sourdough birria sandwich and a birria pizza on the menu too.

New Tampa didn't have many dedicated taco spots before this one showed up. Closed Mondays, but open the rest of the week for lunch and dinner.

I came across Dipped Birria Tacos via a google search and with the reviews I had to try it! You can tell the company invested in their online ordering app/system-it was great! I ordered ahead and my food was ready by the time I got there. Charismatic service, food ready to go, great experience. The chicken and beef birria was great!

I been there 2 times now and I’ve already referred 3 people that went and all said it’s the best tacos they have ever had. If I was an investor I’d totally invest in these people cause they are awesome and food is amazing. Definitely restaurant worthy. I have 3 Airbnbs nearby and I’m referring anybody that ask

The owner(?) was very friendly and welcoming from the beginning and he went above and beyond in service! The food was absolutely delicious(we got the birria taco’s and quesadillas😍🤤) but my favorite thing was seeing the glove he gave us so we could eat without getting our hands dirty. Will be coming back!

EAT HERE! Their food is so good! And you know their birria is so full of flavor and ingredients that they give you some plastic gloves to eat it with 😂 We got their beef tacos and quesadillas, and they were some of the best we have ever had! The sauces were all great (I loved the creamy cilantro). My husband can be very picky with ingredients, but the order screens they have make it very easy to customize. The only reason I gave atmosphere 4 stars is they are a food truck, so even though it's not really applicable, it would be nice to have a table or 2 nearby, but we just took it to the courtyard at a nearby mall to eat. You will not be disappointed!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but let me tell you! I drove 30 minutes to try this place. I didn’t even make it out the parking lot! I had to pull over to eat it. The best Birria I’ve ever had! It’s hard to find birria pizza around. The sourdough sandwiches and the pizza were 10/10 for me! 🤌🏼 The portion sizes are perfect. Let’s not forget they give you gloves! Yes, gloves! They give you gloves to eat your food. Birria can be messy, but if it’s not messy, it’s not made properly. This was worth the drive! Thanks guys!
