Giancarlo's

Coffee shop by day, pizzeria by night
Giancarlo's changes personality three times before dinner. Coffee shop in the morning, diner through the afternoon, then a full bar and pizzeria once the sun drops, from the team behind Santoro's Pizzeria.
The pizza runs thin-crust, and the bar skips the beer-and-a-slice cliché for craft cocktails and wine instead. It sits blocks from Homesick Bagels, another Santoro's opening, on a stretch of North B Street quietly filling up with good food.

Not impressive for the price, overall we felt indifferent about the food/ restaurant/ experience. Visited Giancarlo’s for brunch time we ordered a coffee, a cappuccino, the burrito, Nutella French toast, a side of eggs and sausage. The total was $58 before tip. The atmosphere was nice and energetic. Seems like a younger crowd/ college kids frequent this restaurant. It is very trendy and cute. The food took almost 30 minutes to come out and it wasn’t even that busy so that knocked off a few points. Overall, it’s good spot with fine service and food but nothing notable. (Sorry took pics after eating some).

Atmosphere is great and DJ Casper was awesome as always…Bartender Bri was great. She was attentive and always asked if the drinks were to our satisfaction when she made them. As for food the food it was great and here is the only reason they get a 4 and not a 5. Had meatball appetizer which came with 3 meatballs and a great sauce, but for $16 it came with no side bread or crostini that could be used to enjoy all the sauce… they give you plenty of sauce but no bread (even 3-4 slices would be great) to enjoy the sauce. Once the 3 meatballs are gone the sauce is now just left to be tossed..

For the 6 years we’ve lived in Tampa, we’ve been looking for our pizza place. We’ve found it! Best tavern-style pizza we’ve had in Florida and we will absolutely be back ASAP!! Great atmosphere, we sat at the bar and had great service. There is literally a guy here painting a mural. This is amazing.

I am so glad I found this place. The food is good here. The Chimichurri wings are the best. The pizza is so good. My goal is to try every thing on the menu. The drinks are phenomenal. The espresso martini here is the best espresso Martini I have had. YOU HAVE TO TRY THE PISTACHIO MARTINI. I come for the good food, the drinks and the vibes. The best part of this place is the staff. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. I only remember a few server names Caitlin, Courtney, Meg, the whole bar staff, and the managers all are friendly. I travel a lot. I work in hospitality and I eat out a lot. This team here is really good. The managers here are amazing and they help their employees with is even more impressive. This place is my new go to spot not and it's because the staff here makes it worth coming back they will welcome you and make you feel like you belong here and that goes a way. Every team member you encounter will make sure you are taken care of here. Also they have the best Happy hour in tampa!

Ginacarlo Pizza in Tampa offers a great overall experience with excellent service and a welcoming, family- and pet-friendly atmosphere. The truffle fries and drinks were fantastic. We ordered the Honeymoon pie and the bar pie—both had an amazing, light thin crust. The bar pie was a standout, while the Honeymoon pie had a nice balance of spicy heat and sweetness from the hot honey, though it was a bit too spicy for my taste. Friendly staff and great service made it a spot I’d definitely return to.
