My first experience at O-Ku was at the Atlanta location and it was such an incredible experience, I had high hopes for the Tampa location and they exceeded my expectations! Our waitress Ella was so attentive, gave great food suggestions and made us feel very welcome! I was celebrating my anniversary and O-Ku went above and BEYOND not only with a hand written card from the staff but hand picked gifts based on things we like to do, insane!! The manager Jeremy was also very attentive and welcoming. Now to the food, there really aren’t any misses here. The flavors and quality are on point with every dish! Will be coming back for more celebrations with O-ku!!

We had such an amazing first experience at OKU Tampa! Our server, Trinity, truly made the night special. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, gave us excellent recommendations, checked on us often without ever being overbearing, and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert - the caramel soft serve and it was absolutely to die for. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The crispy rice and steak skewers were hands down our favorites and are a must-order! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with such a great atmosphere, and every staff member we interacted with was warm, friendly, and attentive. We can’t wait to come back.

O-Ku exceeded every expectation. The ambiance is beautiful! It’s upscale, inviting, and perfect for a great night out. The sushi was incredibly fresh and some of the highest quality we've had. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The Oceanside roll, and the Hokkaido scallop strawberry appetizer stood out. 🍓 Without a doubt, this was the best dinner we've had in Tampa. A special shoutout to David W. at the bar for making one of my all-time favorite cocktails. His service, attention to detail, and recommendations made an already amazing experience even better. To top it all off, the manager, Angie, stopped by our table at the end of the evening to check on our experience which was really thoughtful. We can't wait to come back!

I thought the food, service, and atmosphere here were all great. The cuts of fish used for the sushi / nigiri/ sashimi are high quality, and we really enjoyed some of the more creative sections of the menu (signature temaki and nigiri pieces). The only 2 downfalls were the miso soup (unbearably salty, none of us could finish our whole bowl -- who is taste-testing this?) and the price is on the very high-end (we spent about 150/pp without alcohol, which I don't mind, however I did recently eat at a sushi restaurant of identical quality for half the price, so it's hard not to compare). If you want to finish off with something sweet, the donut holes were 10/10 ‐‐ almost 'churro-esque', crisp outer crust with a super-soft center. I think this place is definitely worth a try, and I would return again on occasion.

Very nice new spot one road away from beautiful Bayshore. This place is a chain but doesn't feel like it. Food was amazing. You gotta try the wagyu hot skillet and please don't pass on the purple cheesecake. Best I've ever had. I was a little bummed that they only had Florida warm water oysters. Aside from that no complaints except the parking garage which was still over $20 despite "validating" the ticket. Our server Ella was excellent she knew everything on the menu and gave us great sake recommendations
