Pasta on H Street NW
Rosselli opened on H Street NW in April 2026, filling a gap for anyone downtown who suddenly needs pasta and does not want to walk to Georgetown.
The lighter half of the menu is crudo and whipped ricotta with fig toast. The heavier half is ribeye ragù pappardelle and clam linguini, and that is the half worth ordering from.

What a nice surprise! My husband and I popped in on a whim for dinner without a reservation and were promptly given a table. The restaurant is very well staffed which meant that the service was prompt and attentive throughout our meal. I had the crudo and halibut and my husband had the grilled shrimp and salmon. Both of my dishes were fantastic and nicely presented. My husband also enjoyed his selections. Loved the decor and overall vibe. We saw several other dishes on the menu that we’d love to try so we will definitely be back.

We have been to many of Ashok Bajaj's restaurants in DC over many years and they rarely disappoint. Rosselli's is one of the newest and one of the best. Loved the food, the service and the space. We had a great meal- and felt well taken cared of. We'll be back!

Absolutely Amazing, the service, atmosphere, and staff were just simply incredible. Some off the best Italian food I’ve ever had, alongside hands down some of the best service from restaurants in DC (and overall). A MUST GO. Simply divine

Dinner tonight at Rosselli left a lot to be desired. Waited a while to be seated despite the restaurant being almost empty on a Friday night- the severs just looked at each other while we stood in the entryway. Once we were seated the service was…inconsistent at best. The waiter disappeared many times throughout the dinner- despite again the restaurant being very empty. The air conditioning must have not been properly working as it was humid and warm throughout the dinner. Never was it addressed. I saw people wiping their foreheads and putting their hair up to combat the heat. The food generally was very good- with a huge exception being it was all served, cold. After delivering the food the waiter disappeared for at least 10min so there was no room to even flag him to send it back. We had 2 appetizers, 2 pastas and a steak, and everything was cold. After mentioning this to him when he did reappear, not once did he offer to warm the food or make new food. We did not even touch one dish as it was actually very cold- the server noticed, asked if we didn’t like it, and still proceeded as nothing was wrong. For what is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant, this establishment fell short. The ambiance wasn’t there- no music, no buzz, just a super quiet, hot, humid dining room with cold food! You’re better served going to other great Italian restaurants like Centrolina or Fiola just steps away. They do have an excellent wine list by the glass and bottle + delicious desserts so perhaps go for drinks on a cool day.

Came here for my wife's birthday, so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The staff are professional, friendly and engaging without being clingy. They are knowledgeable about the food and wines they serve and ensure complete guest satisfaction. My wife started with the Puglia burrata, wonderful. I had the arancini (pictured) which are a wonderful balance of crunch and soft filling. I enjoyed the osso bucco which is actually a lamb shank instead of veal. Incredibly tender succulent lamb and a nicely flavored and perfectly al dente risotto. My wife loved the linguine with clams. The sommelier directed us to a wonderful primitivo rose from Puglia. We ordered the poached pear with olive oil ice cream for dessert. Devine! The decor and design of the restaurant were lovely. Classic, stylish - turn of the 20th century elegance. Every aspect of the meal was wonderfully executed. We will definitely return. If you are celebrating a special occasion, don't hesitate to tell them, they are very gracious.
