Seven floors, seven Vietnamese artists, one hotel near Bitexco

Each floor at ANIMA belongs to a different emerging Vietnamese contemporary artist, so the rooms and corridors double as a rotating gallery. Ground floor is ÚNU Cocktails & Eatery, where the Liquid Stories menu was built with seven local artists behind the bar concepts.

It's a small hotel with real amenities under the art premise: a wellness floor with gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, five minutes on foot from the riverfront and Nguyen Hue. It landed in the Michelin Guide's 2025 hotel selection and won a Robb Report Vietnam award for best Vietnamese contemporary art hotel.

Good to know

• Each floor belongs to a different artist, so ask which floor's work speaks to you before they assign a room.
• ÚNU Cocktails & Eatery downstairs runs an artist-designed cocktail menu and is worth a visit even if you sleep elsewhere.
• The wellness floor packs a gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi into a very small building; book slots early.
