Vietnamese-made homeware, Japanese retail discipline
Every mug, shelf and storage box here is designed and made in Vietnam, not imported, which is rare in a city where homeware splits between luxury showrooms and supermarket aisles. benom is the Vietnamese home-living venture from Kohnan, the Japanese home-centre chain, built around what it calls the beauty of the ordinary in Vietnamese family life.
The shelves hold kitchenware, textiles and small furniture priced for daily use, not design-boutique budgets. Handcrafted Innomat cement tiles run through the shopfit on the third floor of the old Parkson building on Lê Thánh Tôn.
Good to know
- On the 3rd floor of the former Parkson Lê Thánh Tôn building, a block from the Opera House; open 10am until late evening.
- The handmade Innomat tiles and small kitchen goods are the categories people actually carry home.

The shop has a lovely display area, and even a reading nook. The handmade glass cups are absolutely gorgeous 🤩.
