From nightclub to sourdough and natural wine on the Lendkai
Kabuff Bistro opened on the Lendkai on April 30, 2026, after Eva and Julia Schnabl and Klemens Grassl took over a space that used to run as a nightclub. They rebuilt the whole concept around seasonal, vegetable-forward sharing plates sourced mostly from small Styrian farms, plus house-made sourdough bread and a natural wine list.
Breakfast runs on weekends, and the bistro opens for dinner Wednesday through Sunday. The dance floor is gone; the oven for the sourdough isn't.

Top notch! We had breakfast here and really enjoyed it. The cafe is comfortable and tastefully decorated, the service was friendly and fast and the food was really creative and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the innovative combination of flavours and quality of ingredients. The coffee is always very nice. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be back to try the rest of the menu!
