Mother and daughter reopen the old Ritterwirt, medieval feast and all

Thake Two opened on Schönaugasse on May 22, 2026, after Sophie Kienzl and her mother Gabi took over the address that had run for years as the Ritterwirt. Sophie handles the concept and organization, Gabi runs the kitchen, and together they rebuilt the restaurant's identity under the new name.

One piece of the old Ritterwirt survives on purpose: the medieval-themed knight's feast, now served as 'Essen wie im Mittelalter' (eating like in the Middle Ages), a nod to the address's history even as everything else points forward.
