A cocktail bar on Highway 1 that outdrinks the hotel bars

Cafe 195 gets treated like a serious cocktail bar, not a bistro with a bar bolted on. It turns up on best-cocktail-in-Barbados lists next to hotel names with far bigger budgets. The food menu exists to support the drinks, not the other way around.

It sits on Highway 1, on the northern edge of St. Michael parish, apart from the boardwalk bars further south. That distance seems to be the point: people come for a properly made cocktail, not a rum punch handed over at a beach bar.
