Rooftop drinks above Praça Mauá, on the Touring terrace
The port spreads out below you, cocktail in hand, from the Edifício Touring rooftop. It's the best free view on Praça Mauá if you're only staying for one drink.
Expect a queue for the lift on weekends. Worth the wait for the skyline once the sun drops.

A pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. The portions are generous. A great option.

I really liked the atmosphere, it's a very beautiful place! But I found things a bit expensive (especially the food). Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The place is beautiful and has a very nice view. The menu is quite concise and brings a different touch to each dish, with some different and very tasty combinations. The food and drinks I tried were great, with a spicy touch that I particularly like. The portions are not very large. However, the service is very confusing and inflexible. We were a group of 20 women for a celebration. We made two reservations. From the moment we arrived, we asked several times to combine the reservations, and they almost didn't do it. The bar was empty, and there were no other large reservations, and even so, they wouldn't let us move the empty tables and chairs to make the group more comfortable. I found it too rigid. There was a jazz band that day, which was even good. But the sound was too loud to maintain a conversation without shouting. In short, we went to another place because of the staff's treatment. I don't consider it a suitable place for large groups and larger celebrations.

I went to check out Acervo and left with the feeling of having found a restaurant that truly values Brazilian ingredients without sacrificing technique. We started by sharing some appetizers, all very well executed and beautifully presented. The drinks also deserve mention: balanced, creative, and perfectly complementing the restaurant's concept. For the main course, I chose the Guinea Fowl and Mugunzá, the special of the month. The chicken was extremely tender, with golden skin, served over a stew of grains and flavorful sausages. The toasted okra farofa added texture and complemented the dish very well. It's the kind of food that comforts you, but at the same time surprises you with its details. For dessert, I chose the Lelê Brûlé, and for me, it was the highlight of the experience. A creamy couscous made with yellow cornmeal and coconut, covered with a caramelized crust, accompanied by a bacuri namelaka, a light and extremely silky cream, and finished with rapadura caramel. The combination of the sweetness of the rapadura (unrefined cane sugar), the acidity of the bacuri fruit, and the texture of the couscous was simply incredible. Beyond the food, the service was very attentive from beginning to end. The staff knows the menu well, explains the dishes carefully, and makes the experience even better. If you enjoy contemporary Brazilian cuisine, with valued and expertly executed national ingredients, Acervo deserves a place on your list.
