Focaccia by the slice, from the team behind the Gough Street pasta bar

Skip the sit-down menu and grab a slice instead. The Spoon Focaccia is the counter-only spinoff of The Spoon Pasta Bar around the corner on Gough Street, baking loaves all morning and cutting them to order with toppings that shift with the season.

Graham Street still keeps a wet market at its lower end, one of the last in Central, so the counter pulls in market shoppers alongside office workers on lunch break. Smaller, cheaper, faster than its sibling restaurant.

Very friendly staff, cool spot to grab drinks and tapas with friends. They also have an outdoor area to sit and chill. Worth checking out

TLDR: food was good but unremarkable, had strange bug bites after sitting on their couch. Tried the Spoon Focaccia on a Thursday for lunch. I had already been to the Spoon (its sister shop) and thought it was mediocre, but the Spoon Focaccia was better in comparison. My friend and I ordered sets (combo mix) - I got the prawn bisque and dry aged chicken, while my friend ordered roasted veggies with dry aged chicken. The prawn bisque was good, squid ink focaccia felt like a gimmick, and dry aged chicken was above average. Service was great. However, there seems to be some dirt or bugs in the shop because both my friend and I got a lot of bug bites on our thighs (where our skin touched the sofa/chairs). Definitely cause for alarm esp since that was the only common spot my friend and I both went to on that day.

Small place with nice food. We ordered the honey dome, tuna tartare and beef lasagna and everything was delicious!! Would love to try their pizza next time!

Besides its murals, Graham Street has become a popular spot for photos in recent years, and many new restaurants have sprung up there. The Spoon Focaccia, which I visited today, is one such newcomer. It's a recent branch of a popular Central handmade pasta shop, and its main focus has shifted to Italian handmade focaccia bread. Made with a low-oil, high-moisture method, the resulting bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with an irresistible aroma. With different ingredients, it offers endless variations, definitely worth a visit! The shop uses a red and white color scheme with a minimalist European design, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere—a great place to spend a weekend with friends. 📍 The Spoon Focaccia Shop 1, G/F, Ka Ho Building, 35-39 Graham Street, Central Today's Menu French toast focaccia with mascarpone cream $76 Honey butter focaccia dome with guanciale & ricotta cream $72 Four Seasons Kumquat Peach Sparkling Tea $56 Passion Fruit Peach Cold Brew Coffee $52
