Char siu and smash burgers share a menu on Staunton Street
Char siu next to a smash burger, egg tarts beside a milkshake list. Lazy Suzy runs Cantonese comfort food and American diner staples on the same page, in vinyl booths under neon that make the room feel more Kowloon City than SoHo.
Staunton Street has churned through Italian, Spanish and Japanese openings without a strong Canto-American spot until now. Lazy Suzy treats the cha chaan teng format as a genre to riff on, not a menu to preserve exactly.

Who knew Canto-American comfort food could be this thrilling? đ€© Hidden down a quiet Soho alleyway, Lazy Suzy is rewriting the rules of fusion dining with its playful, bold and high-energy Canto-American vibe. âš Start your night with the zesty CLAMS đ, bathed in a citrusy lemon pickle broth that immediately awakens your palate. Next, the decadent SQUID TOAST đŠ is a must-tryâgolden-fried to a perfect shatter, topped with rich, sandy salted egg yolk tartare and popping crab roe. đ„ For mains, the CARBONARA RICE CAKE đ§ is pure genius; chewy Korean rice cakes find their soulmate in rich cream, accented by the sweet, savory depth of Chinese sausage. The BARRAMUNDI đ features incredibly crispy skin and a tender fillet, elevated by a brilliantly numbing Sichuan pepper oil. Complete your feast with their ultra-tender FRIED CHICKEN đ, which pairs beautifully with a nostalgic fermented beancurd sauce. đ€€ Itâs the ultimate spot to wind down and share small plates. đ„đŹ

Food was good but nothing amazing. The prawn toast and fried chicken were my favorite dishes. All the cocktails except one were not available. I hope this gets fixed in time. Overall the food was good but not memorable and not worth the price in my opinion. Iâm glad I tried it but probably wouldnât come back again.

Fresh concept for the neighborhood! Love these playful Western dishes packed with bold nostalgic Canto flavours, some fun flavour pairings here! â Beef tartare with sichuan pepper â Namyu Pigeon â Yue Kwan Yick Fried Chicken â Beef Cheek Stir-fried with Onion Itâs a cozy little spot with smaller plates, so grab 1-3 friends max 4, 4 people is the sweet spot and do share

Had a fantastic experience at Lazy Suzy! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. It is definitely a must-visit spot. I highly recommend trying the pigeon and the saladâboth were excellent. I can't wait to come back!

We tried many items and most of them are tasty, my favorite were the squid toasts and the carbonara rice cake. No liquor license yet so no alcohol available. Would be nice if they could provide some other drinks options as its too hot to walk outside to get drinks. The restaurant has no door, so there is basically no air con. we came on a hot evening so its pretty hot. would recommend anyone to come on cooler evenings. But service was really good tho :)
