Amazing food and even better vibes! Abby made us feel so welcome with her warm, friendly service, and Chef Ronald absolutely delivered—every dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The whole experience was top-notch. Can’t wait to come back!

Poppy & Aster is a new place on Moon Street in Wanchai. They do basic burger lunches and full dinner menu for those who prefer to dine in the evenings. Seating area is a bit restricted so might be useful to make reservations if wanting to dine on weekend evenings or around public holidays. During a recent lunch seating we tried their spicy chicken burger and fish burger. Chicken was a plump breast, nicely fried. Would have preferred more spicy, tasted more like traditional fried chicken than what you might think of as spicy chicken. On the whole, pretty good. Tilapia fillet was surprisingly large for a burger, probably even better to just serve this as a fish and chips order instead of a fish burger. Fries served with both meals very basic, tasted ok. Service was fine on the day, prices quite reasonable for the portion sizes and good quality of what was served. On the the whole, this was a pretty good lunch, worth a try if planning to be around Wanchai during lunch period.

We had an amazing time celebrating my friend’s birthday! The food was delicious and the service was awesome - everyone was so friendly and attentive. The ambience was lively and fun, and it made the whole night feel extra special. We’ll definitely be revisiting!

This place deserves a great review. Their spicy chicken burger has the ideal crunch—crispy, juicy, and so satisfying—thanks to the in-house spicy aioli sauce that adds the perfect kick. The fish burger is equally impressive: made with tilapia and coated in batter that comes out golden and full of flavor. Great place for lunch as they have a special set lunch menu.

Visited their new Wan Chai branch and was so impressed. The new space is much bigger and more spacious, making for a really comfortable dining experience. Every single dish that came out was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. A few major highlights from the meal: - Drunken Prawns: A brilliant fusion of Chinese and Western flavors. The prawn meat was perfectly bouncy and fresh. - Yellow Chicken Rice: Absolutely impressive. The chicken was incredibly tender, and the Sichuan seasoning added the perfect kick that tied it all together. - Picanha: Cooked exactly to a perfect medium-rare. It comes with a variety of dipping sauces that really elevate the flavor of the meat. To top it all off, the staff hospitality was top-notch. They were incredibly considerate and lovely throughout the night. Highly recommended!
