Charcoal copper-pot mutton hotpot on Middle Road

Skip the induction burner. Xinjingxi cooks Beijing-style shuan yangrou over an actual charcoal-fired copper pot, a format Hong Kong barely serves outside Sichuan mala and Cantonese seafood hotpot menus. The broth stays plain on purpose, just a clear stock, so the lamb and the sesame dip do the talking.

The lamb is sourced specifically for this style, not swapped in from a generic hotpot base. It joins the handful of mainland regional spots already clustered on Middle Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.
