I had high expectations for this restaurant, and unfortunately the overall experience didn’t quite live up to them. The mushroom tartlet was probably my favorite dish of the evening. The mushrooms were cooked beautifully - firm, flavorful, and full of character. The cheese espuma added a delicate milky richness without overpowering the mushrooms, allowing them to remain the star of the dish. The roasted cauliflower was another highlight. Every ingredient had its own clear identity: the cauliflower, hazelnut, cheese espuma, and pepper oil all worked together without competing for attention. It was the most complete and well-balanced dish we had. The steak, however, was where I expected much more. It was cooked exactly as requested, and the fat was excellent. The demi-glace and confit shallots were both very good, with the shallots being particularly memorable. However, considering the menu describes it as aged beef picanha, I expected a much deeper and more distinctive beef flavor. Instead, it felt like a well-cooked steak rather than an exceptional one. The pickled beetroot also didn’t add much to the overall composition. The dessert was the biggest disappointment for me. The choux pastry was noticeably salty, which distracted from the apple rather than complementing it. The cream also left a slightly astringent sensation that made the dessert feel heavy after only a few bites. A touch more acidity in the apples would have brought much better balance. Presentation and plating were excellent throughout the meal. Every dish looked refined, carefully composed, and worthy of a Michelin Guide restaurant. The attention to visual detail was evident from start to finish. What disappointed me most wasn’t any individual dish, but the overall experience. Every plate was technically competent, and some elements were genuinely excellent, yet very little felt memorable. For a Michelin Guide restaurant at this price point, I expected dishes that would stay with me long after dinner. Instead, I left feeling that I had a decent meal rather than an exceptional one. 3.5/5

bistrot-style with gault millau rating 👩🏼‍🍳🧑🏻‍🍳 food was very good, we thoroughly enjoyed all of it. mushroom tartelette was outstanding: we were very happy to have chosen it as a third starter to share. really special cocktails. wine prices on the higher side - one of the things that seem prevalent in czechia. charming service. sometimes a bit overwhelmed with serving wine - we would generally have no problem with the bottle near us to self-serve ... but then again: wine prices ...

Beautiful and trying very hard too. Portions are small except steak & gnocchi. Nice local wines by the bottle. 3 courses for two, not including the wine or tip, was about €90.

I was looking for a nice dinner place and landed here. The service was super professional and nice. The food was very good just the portions were tiny. The price was a little bit high but as well as the quality. I can really recommend this place

Easily the best meal I had in Brno. Fresh and sublime flavors, service is top notch, decor is beautiful - including the entrance through the courtyard. Cannot recommend this place enough! Thanks for a lovely dining experience :)
