A sourdough bakery and café near the Švanda Theatre, open since March 2026

55 Bakery opened on Štefánikova in March 2026, a few doors from the Švanda Theatre. Sourdough loaves, French-style bagels, croissants and pastries come out of the oven through the morning, and there is seating for people who want to eat them where they were baked.

The coffee is treated as part of the offer rather than a courtesy, which is not always the case in Czech bakeries. It fills quickly before performances at the theatre next door.
