A top-floor Southeast Asian bar and dining room above Pařížská

Golden Eye sits on the top floor of the Fairmont Golden Prague, looking out over the Vltava. The interior is built on 1970s cosmopolitan reference points: brass, gold, dark wood, mirrors, low light.

The food is Southeast Asian and designed for sharing across a table rather than plating in courses, and the bar programme is the reason most people are there. It stays open later than the hotel's other rooms.

I had an amazing experience here I truly loved it. The service was excellent, and the selection is very good. The view over Prague is absolutely stunning, which makes the whole experience even more special. I come here quite often, and I genuinely believe this is one of the best places in Prague. A special thanks to Sergey and Denis they demonstrated a high level of professionalism, crafted great cocktails, and introduced me to the place in a very welcoming way. Thank you!

The cocktails were strong but smooth. 3 stars only because they start out asking if you want water like any other cocktail bar but this water costs CZK 250 per bottle as you will find out when the bill comes.

Having worked in gastronomy for several years myself, I know what good service looks like, and I have high standards. Denis was absolutely exceptional today. His timing was perfect, he anticipated our needs, and his attitude was professional and welcoming. It is rare to see that level of attention to detail. Beautiful setting with a great view, excellent food and drinks. From the very beginning the staff were kind, attentive, and professional. The dishes were delicious with beautiful presentation and a solid wine list. We’ll be happy to come back!
