Café Revoluční

A minimalist all-day café near Revoluční, open since December 2024
Café Revoluční opened in December 2024 on the corner of Soukenická, a short walk from the Vltava and the Kotva end of the old town. The interior is pared back to pale wood and white walls, which makes the room feel bigger than it is.
Breakfast is the main event, served well into the afternoon, with a coffee programme good enough to stand on its own. In the evening it turns over to cocktails and wine, so it stays useful long after most of the neighbouring cafés have shut.

Really lovely waitresses, super helpful and kind. Walked around Prague trying to find a spot to use the restroom, McDonalds didn't even accept, it required payment. We came here and asked whether we can make use of the restroom and lady said of course :) We came back later to have a bite. Really clean and lovely atmosphere, comfortable spots to choose from to sit. Lovely menu and quite affordable prices for the quality of food you get! Friend got a ciabatta and I got soup of the day which was garlic broth soup with melted cheese on the bottom, had to pay for additional bread but it was all great! Highly recommend the hot chocolate, one of the best I've had. okay I'm done. Děkuju moc!

We had a break breakfast with tasty and fruity pancakes and dumplings, the coffee was also very nice (with possibility of oat/coconut milk) I will go again the next time I’m in Prague! Waitresses were very nice as well!

Today, sightseeing alone doesn't provide an overall travel experience. As life has become more advanced, travelers seek better experiences tailored to their tastes, lodging, and other comforting nuances. In Prague, Cafe Revolucni offered such an experience, one you'd want to tell your friends about while describing how beautiful your Prague experience was. I was staying nearby and visited this café at least twice, if not more. Firstly, the interior was neat and beautiful, quite art deco, and kind of modern. Secondly, it's not always overcrowded, and the attendants were very humble and accommodating, unlike cafés that trap tourists. The food they served was prepared with utmost care and tasted great. Most importantly, they were very reasonably priced. The place was probably waited on by beautiful ladies; maybe that's why it's reflected in its glowing appearance. People who are visiting or staying near the Namesti Republic area should visit this café: it's highly recommended.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and helped me find something that I was able to eat (I have celiac and they were super aware of what I could and couldn’t have). Plus, they helped me figure out how many crowns I had. And it was delicious!!

Stopped here for a late lunch while walking from the Fair Trade Palace to our hotel on September 18, 2025 Maybe it was the late hour but the atmosphere was so tranquil and refreshing. The one staff person we met was such a nice easy-going pleasant person. Our food was good, especially desserts. Prague has to be one of the friendliest cities.
