A matcha bar on Rumunská, open since February 2024

Matcha Crew opened on Rumunská in February 2024 and built its business on Japanese green tea rather than coffee, which was still a novelty in Prague at the time. The tea is sourced by grade and whisked to order.

The drinks list runs from straight usucha through to lattes and seasonal blends, with a small run of pastries alongside. It has since grown into a small chain, but Rumunská remains the room the regulars use.
