Bazar's Middle Eastern sharing menu lands on Åboulevarden
Souk opened on Åboulevarden in spring 2025 as the Aarhus branch of Copenhagen's Bazar, running the same family-style Middle Eastern format by the river. Shawarma off the grill, mezze spreads and tagine chicken come out built for sharing, with smoked vegetables and house-made ayran filling in the rest of the table.
A cocktail list and a wine selection picked to match the spice level keep the menu built for a table that lingers for a couple of hours instead of moving through courses. It's one of the busier rooms on the canal, a short walk from most of the other Åboulevarden openings from the same year.

Sat barside (my favorite and little secret for a perfect/different experience anywhere) Asked the chef the point out his 4 favorites from the menu card Food is excellent and well seasoned Service is a little slow and unstructured however the warmth and hospitality definitely makes up for it. The personnel is attentive and flexible ready to accommodate any need Great selection and variety in selection it caters for the conservative palate and the ones wanting to be challenged/explore the Lebanese kitchen more

One great mezze place. I would only say that it is too big for my taste and is on the fancier side. But it extremely tasty, so give it a shot no matter.
