Breda is the more polished sibling to Pinci in Mitte, built by the same trio, Manuel Pinciroli, Lu Leisering and Silvan Frick, on Paul-Lincke-Ufer. Art deco-style tables and polished metal counters face the Landwehrkanal, a step up in finish without losing the trattoria feel.

The menu stays short and Italian, built for a table to share rather than order individually.

Great Italian restaurant in a fantastic location, quick and professional service, food is great and curated in every detail Pasta with ragù is highly recommended as well as the French toast with burrata and tomatoes - in the pic. Price more than fair

I wanted to love Breda. I really, truly did. The hype had me genuinely excited, and looking at the menu, the promise of a stellar meal was right there on paper. Unfortunately, the reality felt less like a warm Italian dinner and more like an exercise in enduring someone else’s ego. Let's start with the food, because it wasn't all bad. The Cotoletta alla Bolognese was perfectly fine, and the Blauflossen Thunfisch (bluefin tuna) with sauce au poivre was undeniably good. But honestly? In a city like Berlin, "good" doesn't cut it for these prices. I’ve had significantly better versions of both elsewhere without the side order of attitude. And oh, the attitude. The vibe here is incredibly "scene," but not in the effortless, come-as-you-are way you’d expect in Kreuzberg, or even the polished creativity of Mitte. Instead, Breda feels like it took a wrong turn and accidentally imported the -worst- parts of Munich. It’s performative, and drenched in a weird kind of corporate-cool pretension. The interior is original and spot on.

Cool new restaurant with a different kind of vibe - really love the interior, bit of space age! Service was the most attentive & friendly I‘ve had in a while :) we even still got a spot for 2 the same day! Front of the restaurant is quite loud, but luckily we could sit in the back where it’s a bit more quiet! Food was amazing and the menu was definitely creative/ different - although Tiramisu is a basic dessert it flashed me!

This place won’t only catch your eye it actually serves fantastic food and drinks! We tried almost the full menu and had a variety of drinks and all were amazing ! You can really see how much love went into the concept. Although this place is new it already feels lived in as the staff/ team operate so smoothly! As the dinning place shifts into a bar you can really tell that this place already feels like home for the neighborhood and all their friends! Would 100% recommend ! 🫰
