Southeast Asian cocktails and street food on Paulay Ede utca
Tuk Tuk works a Southeast Asian angle on both sides of the counter: cocktails built on lemongrass, tamarind, chilli and coconut, and a kitchen doing Thai and Vietnamese street plates to go with them.
It sits on the upper stretch of Paulay Ede utca, close enough to the Opera to catch the pre-theatre trade and far enough from the Jewish Quarter to avoid the stag crowd.

If you search for a real bar that totally respects you, its name and culture this is your bar. Excellent drinks, detailed preparations using the proper glasses, smiles from the kindest staff are only some of the ingredients of the successful recipe. When you come to Budapest do not forget to have a drink at this atmospheric spot of this lovely town!

Drinks were very good, definitely got the Asian vibe. Chill background techno music was playing, the interior is very dark with a lot of red and black tones, overall very good experience.

Nice little bar with really good drinks! My husband had a drink (not on the menu) and said it was in the top 5 best drinks he’s ever had. The Bubble Zen Pop was fun and the Oriental Bloom was nice.

Very delicious cocktails 🍸 Dory was very attentive, took great care of us and we never had to wait long to order. One of the cocktails we ordered was unfortunately not our taste. This had nothing to do with how the cocktail was made, it just included cilantro, which we don't like. Dory was super understanding and quickly exchanged it with a very delicious Mai Tai. All of the other drinks made by Matthew were very delicious! Especially the Spice Market Smoke, which really brings some heat! Can only recommend this gem of a bar
