9,000 square feet of coffee, cacao and bread
Subko's biggest space in India sits in a former spa on Koramangala-Sarjapur Road, and the scale shows. Past the Arabica-green facade, a coffee bar and a chocolate bar face off before opening onto a glasshouse courtyard, glass-arched bakehouses and a tree-shaded amphitheatre.
The glass-walled Sensory Lab is the one to seek out. Order the Appy Cascara, chilled apple and rosemary layered over coffee cherry skin, or a Robusta-based Taiwanese salted cold foam. The Cacao Mill sends out dark chocolate with gluten-free toast crisps and white chocolate puffed rice with curry leaf and mustard seed. Dogs welcome throughout.

Subko has become one of my favourite coffee spots. The coffee selection is well curated. If you’re someone who enjoys exploring different flavors, this is the place to be. The cafe is a house transformed into a cozy place that makes you slow down and enjoy your coffee. A special mention to Richard, who took the time to help us with our preferences and patiently walked me through the different coffee/food options. And don’t leave without checking out their chocolates, they’re just as well crafted as the coffee. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from their menu!

I enjoyed a lovely Sunday breakfast here! ☕ The ambiance and service were wonderful. While I wished for more food variety, I appreciated the abundant sourdough options, which are light and delicious. 🥑 The south filter coffee with jaggery and the chicken sourdough avocado sandwich were highlights! 😋

Subko Coffee is a place that really focuses on delivering a proper coffee experience, and it shows. The ambience is thoughtfully designed, warm and inviting, with multiple types of seating that make it easy to either relax, work, or catch up with someone Although the whole menu is on the expensive side the price is worth the experience and food. The variety of seating is a big plus it doesn’t feel cramped, and you can actually settle in for a while without feeling rushed. Coming to the food and drinks * Coffee is genuinely really good, one of the highlights here. * Matcha is also good, which isn’t always easy to find done right. * Toasts are excellent, simple but well-executed and pair really well with the drinks. The only downside is the service, which can be a bit slow at times. It fits the laid-back vibe, but can test your patience if you’re in a hurry.

The food here is genuinely excellent and definitely the highlight. However, the service really needs improvement, it’s quite slow and unorganized at times. Getting in and finding a table can also be a bit of a struggle, especially during busy hours. Also, a small tip for those ordering eggs: if you’re particular about how you like them cooked, make sure to mention it clearly. The scrambled eggs here aren’t prepared in the usual style, so it’s better to specify your preference in advance. ( we had ordered an avo toast with scrambled eggs, attaching the image below ) Overall, great food, but be prepared for a slightly frustrating experience on the service side.

Really liked how the cafe was made and the atmosphere. It was pretty hot in the open area so I feel they should put mist fans cos the heat has become unbearable now, but the ac sections were great. I tried the vietnamese iced coffee which was fab. Looking forward to checking out the breads which are baked fresh in their kitchen.
