Record bar named for a hostel room

Behind a discreet GK-1 entrance sits a listening room and cocktail bar built by three friends who once shared hostel room 304. Directions only arrive after you register, which is either charming or annoying depending on your mood.

Every cocktail traces back to a shared memory. Saleem ki Chai mixes whisky with tea, Sadar Bazaar leans into chaat with tamarind cordial and raw mango lactic acid. Small plates follow suit, Japanese dahi puri and nihari toast among them. Evenings only.
