West of Ireland's only dedicated gelato spot, right off High Street.

Wild Churn moved into the old Kenny Joes unit on High Street, sandwiched between Nanna's Teas and Galway Gifts, opening its doors in early June 2026. They make the gelato themselves and say they're the only dedicated artisan gelato producer in the west of Ireland.

Beyond the gelato there's soft serve, açaí bowls and coffee. It's built for takeaway, though a couple of small tables tend to show up outside the door when the weather cooperates. Doors open sometime after midday, seven days a week.
