Recognisable flavours, executed with a few surprises: that's the kitchen at Chez Chloé, chef Marcelo Hernandez's take on classic French gastronomy on the Overtoom. Nothing on the menu tries to reinvent the genre.
Entrepreneur Matthijs van Stapele built the project with maître Rutger Bogers, backed by a wine list running past 250 references, deep enough to match almost anything on the menu.

It’s so nice to have beautiful new “date night” or special occasion spot in the area. The service was truly exceptional; very few restaurants in Amsterdam do this well. The food was perfectly prepared and beautifully plated. And the space is beautiful. We will for sure be back.

fabulous experience where we were looked after from start to finish! Little touches like a small card in French with my name on through to some great wine recommendations. The food was exceptional, the turbot was the real star, the sauce was buttery, rich, creamy and salty which elevated the fish! highly recommend and soo lovely to have another elite restaurant in the neighbourhood!
