Argentinian empanadas, Greek coffee and Japanese tea in one small room

The menu at Agora reads like a passport, and somehow it works. Empanadas come out of the oven all day, the coffee is poured Greek style, and there is Brazilian maté and Japanese tea alongside house made pastries.

The room is small and most people leave with a box of six or twelve empanadas. It sits on the Oude Ebbingestraat, opposite the cat café, in a stretch where independent shops keep pushing out the chains.

The staff are so friendly, kind, and helpful. The food allll amazing we loved the walnut cake and the drinks were great. Great prices and great atmosphere for chatting and hanging out. Highly recommended and I cannot emphasise that even more; amazing overall!!🩷
