Breakfast, cake and a wine bar on one Schildersbuurt corner

A café that turns into a wine bar by four in the afternoon shouldn't work this well, but Struis pulls it off. Mornings mean breakfast and coffee from Cocodori, the roaster its owners also run. Afternoons move to cake on the sunny terrace.

Then the corner shifts again: shareable plates and bottles running from house pours to château labels. Three owners, a marketing agency and a coffee company between them, and somehow no part of it feels bolted on.
