The blue coffee van grew into a magazine shop

Revista used to be a converted Peugeot J7 parked on the Hereplein, pouring lightly roasted coffee to whoever tracked it down. The van's retired now. Since 2026 it has a fixed address on the Carolieweg, opening at half past seven for people on their way somewhere.

Everything on the menu is plant based, the baking happens in house, and the shelves hold a run of international magazines you're expected to actually read. The Carolieweg is a short alley off the Grote Markt, and Revista is a big reason it's become one of the more interesting streets in the centre.

Lovely people that make some of the best coffee in town. The atmosphere is very cozy. They have a nice deal for getting a home-made cookie with a coffee for about 6 euros, which is also really nice. One of my go-to places at this point, for good reason! <3

Vegan coffee shop! Only planted based milk. They don’t advise when you order.. and don’t care either too much. There is a small separate sign but not on the main menue. So you can oversee it very easily.
