Antillean and Caribbean dishes bent toward Southeast Asia, cooked on a quiet Ocean Park side street. The kitchen calls it a cuisine united by the tropics, and it tastes like it, familiar flavors nudged somewhere unexpected.

The room is small and dinner-focused, with lunch only Thursday through Sunday. Book ahead. San Juan found this place long before any guide did.

Manzana de Java was truly a one of a kind experience. Their menu is an incredibly creative twist on traditional Puerto Rican cuisine. The restaurant is tiny, cozy and the staff was very attentive. I cannot wait to visit again!

A total different experience in dining! The different flavors have you wondering what makes that amazing taste in the food! Small place but just perfect to enjoy a perfect dinner! 🥰 The flan guava cheesecake was amazing!

This is a phenomenal restaurant. It has a very intimate atmosphere- only 7 tables, and their menu is extremely fresh, seasonal and farm-to-table. We got the Rocio de Miel and Mula Galangal for drinks. We got empanadas, asopao, fish chicarrones, tostones, bistec and pastel. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend the fish chicarrones and empanadas- so flaky and crispy and delicious! Extremely reasonable price for the experience. Would definitely come again!

Went here for a solo dinner date with myself. So beautiful, so intimate. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Drinks were strong and delicious! Very cute for a date night with friends or your boo.
