A wine shop where the owner actually wants to talk grapes

Skip the two or three Slovenian producers everyone already knows. Butelka's shelves are sorted by region and grower, not price, and owner Lenart Černelič will happily walk you through any bottle on the wall.

It runs as a shop first, bar second, with tastings and pairing evenings folded in as the place found its rhythm through 2025. Regulars can sign up for a loose subscription and get bottles picked for them instead of guessing.

Good to know

• Ask for a recommendation rather than browsing blind. That's the whole point of the place.
• Closed Tuesdays; weekend hours run shorter than weekdays.
