An old-money bar hiding above a brunch spot

Climb the stairs above Nikko Island on Guangming Street and the brunch crowd disappears. Southern Haven rebuilt the floor as an English old-money hideout: long bar, leather seats, bare brick, lighting low enough that conversations drop to match.

Order the smoky, wood-toned Offshore Island and pair it with the sesame oil chicken risotto sent up from the kitchen downstairs. The third floor adds a whisky and cigar room by night. Closed Monday and Tuesday, and worth booking ahead.
