Seoul-style gimbap with a basement cafe surprise

The gimbap here tastes like Seoul, not the gloopy convenience-store version. A Korean-Chinese couple rolls it clean and lightly seasoned, backed by ramyeon, tteokbokki and fish cake soup on a menu that reads like a Korean corner shop.

Downstairs is the twist: a basement dining room styled like a Korean aesthetic cafe, dim lighting and all. Weekend lines near Gongguan station say the students found it fast.
