Four floors of Hunan food dressed for the camera

A dreamscape interior spread across four floors on Zhonghua Road made this Ximending's most photographed dining room overnight. The kitchen trained in Wenzhou and tuned the menu to Taiwanese palates without gutting the chili.

Suancaiyu and stir-fried beef carry the classics. The sleeper hit is pineapple shrimp: big prawns, barely battered, pineapple torched until the sugar crackles. Coffee service runs between meal hours.
